In no particular order: Spending time with my close friends, my sister (she's such a dag), going for a drive out of the city, picnics, leaving work early, knowing that I only have 10 working days left of working where I currently am, receiving compliments, just hanging out with my best friend (we don't have to say anything, just spending time with her makes me happy), my cat & how pyscho he is, spending time with my parents, watching the V8 supercars. I'm sure there are many other things that make me happy, I just can't think of them here at work! hehehe.

Watching my nearly 5 month old daughter learn about new things every day. Having her smile at me, being a little babling chatterbox whenever I pick her up, finding her ticklish spots and listening to her laugh, because Shayla is one very happy and healthy baby, it's just makes me happy. Uggg, Im such a cornball :(

been thinking about this for a day or two.

I'm old enough and worked hard enough to have gotten my life running the way I want it.

On top of a fortunate set of circumstances - family, health, finances etc - I really like to sit down with my wife and 4 kids (all adults) and go through the family photo albums and slides.
Every so often we have a "slide night" and it's always a great night. Much laughing, poking fun at each other and generally enjoying ourselves.

Sometimes it's the simple things that make us the happiest

The fact that my 2 teenagers will still come up and give me a hug for no particular reason is absolutely awesome to me. It makes me happy to know I've raised them to be caring and affectionate people.

The strong friendships I've made with people I've met through AFF. These people are now a huge part of my personal life. So grateful for their friendships

My Family, definately! No matter how much we fight, or how loud we are etc, at the end of the day we're there for eachother.

Driving a nice car.

Watching my 3 year old sing the wrong lyrics to her favourite songs

The list goes on and on but that's a few that really make me happy and smile when I think about them.

My son. Especially when he comes out with the most hilarious comments and he doesnt realise the humour in it.
Catching up with friends over lunch or dinner, sharing a bottle of wine and just having good conversation and a laugh.

Corny as all hell i know... but a bit partial to watching the sun set over the city or down at the beach. Not talking, not laughing, not doing anything, not seeing anyone - just watching... thinking...

Taking 5 minutes out of a busy day to sit down, have a fresh cup of espresso and a cigarette.

Life's too damn complicated - hapiness is best served simple.

Long drives ... had a good night the other night 1700km in the one night ... was absolutely fantastic ... and what makes it better is I was paid pretty well for the pleasure of driving too ... can't get any better.

Call me old I guess ... but I enjoy sitting on the front verandah on the weekend ... looking out across the paddock into the bush ... bottle of wine ... grapes/cheese/crackers ... silence. Absolute heaven.

Having family and friends over for a BBQ/decent feed ... and plenty of drink ... good times ... good stories ... good laughs :

My fiancee makes me the happiest though ... dunno what I'd do without her ... she's an angel

Here here ... well not the cigarettes anymore .. but there was a time that having a good coffee in one hand ... and a ciggie in the other ... and peace and quiet was damn good.

Now it's a coffee ... and no ciggie ... just as good ... even better in some ways.

But I know where you are coming from though
