I sleep like a little baby, never wake-up at night (only when my son does occasionally).
But I rarely sleep more than 6 hours. I like staying up late and getting up early. Mind you I do have the occasional power-nap in the arvo when I'm putting my little boy to sleep I always kinda doze off myself. |

Occasionaly have problems sleeping but no way would do i suffer from insomnia. Not so much anymore as i exhaust myself a bit at work... not physical but 11 hours a day of this stuff will take it out of me. A few years ago tho when "working through" a few issues i used to take drowsy antihystemines (sp?) to sleep...
Ive always wondered - how do you feel waking up after the proper sleeping pills? I used to feel like i had a head full of cotton balls waking up after taking antihystemines to sleep.... never really felt like a "good nights" sleep. So what are the real deal like to wake up from and do you actually feel rested?

For those with insomnia. There is a hospital in sydney doing a study on it at the moment. I cant recall the hospital but there are adds on the radio at the moment. Those interested, the add said you get free medication and free GP visits as part of the trial.
Though id let yas know.

OK to all those that have real probs my empathy......I worked shift work for over thirty years and never had a problem sleeping..except at work.
Retired Aviation Rescue Firefighter We were allowed to sleep on night shift ...but no one did you just dozed. Seriously to all who are having probs try some hard exercise either physical or bottle. Try and stay away from the perscription drugs.
