G'day All,

The email about the purchase of tickets for the Qld round of the V8 Supercars is on the way out now. Check you inbox by the end of the evening (Sunday Night) and it will be there. If you failed to get it then PM me with your correct email address and I will send it to you. Remember only 2006 / 2007 finacial members will be eligible to buy the discounted tickets and to be in the running to obtain a car pass.

Cheers,

Ken

G'day All,

It is great to see the responses comming in for this event. It will be one big Rainbow Serpent traveling out to the track again on the Sunday.

The Events Team are working hard to ensure that everything goes to plan and it is as painless as possible for you to get your tickets. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact any of the Events Committee or me for that matter.

One last thing, if you haven't sent an email to ask for a car pass then you better get your skates on as they will go fast.

Cheers,

Ken

Welcome to the mad house.
What are you doing up at midnight the Aussies are out of the soccer...
You will enjoy meeting everyone, very friendly bunch, you might want to rethink about working weekends when you hear of all the fun to be had.
Can't wait to see the V8s in action again, see ya there.

G'day All,

I am so looking forward to the weekend of racing. I have to agree with Per, all work and no play sucks. That will be my only two days off during July so I am going to enjoy them the best way I know how, In the company of other Clubbies watching the Fords do it again.

Cheers,

Ken

G'day All,

Well it looks like it is going to be a big one yet again this year. A reminder that if you wish to get a car pass, please let Events know at the time you order your tickets. Remember that we only have 100 car passes and they will most certainly be used so get in quick and book one.

We will have our big Marquee set up on the back straight and our cars will be parked just down behind it. This is our home race so lets all get out there and show our support to the Ford teams.

Ken

Default Pre race fix

Just got my pre race fix today. Had do go to RAAF airbase today and heard on the radio that the cars were out testing today so I had to sneak out for a look.
SBR-DJR-888-WPS and a few others were out there testing. Now I really can't wait much longer, Go the FORD's. See you all out there next Sunday.
It is amazing that the same car you just saw coming past in pit lane coughing and spluttering only minutes ago, can sound so sweet when it zooms past at full noise :eclipsee_

Cheers Per

Hey there skip.
Now you keep right off the track, we don't want another incident like Bathurst a couple years ago.

Huh, no worries there Heath...after last year, wheels falling off Holdens have taken over the role of jumping into windscreens as cars head into the cutting!!! Anyway, we have a far more important race at Sachsenring this weekend as Casey Stoner once again challenges the best of the best in MOTOGP!!! :evil3:
