after a dry out and a rinse most of it will be ok. if its salt then thats a different story. most of it will be rooted.
motor and box should be OK. they dry out and normally fire up

This sort of thing seems to be catching.. This is the third vehicle I know of to drop into some sort of water issue :

I know the restrictions are making things hard, but sheesh :

I hope they have a good pool filter..

Surely they could flog of things like the brembos etc? Those external parts get wet all the time.. Though I suppose chlorine/salt isn't healthy.

The drought is really making it hard to clean our cars, I salute this dimwitted pioneer for his relentless pursuit of new and innovative ways to keep the Blue Oval shining in all it's glory.

Sad Sight to see. If the owner was being reckless, then I have no pity for them.

That L almost looks like an E to me. There's a line on the top, and I can kind of see a smaller line in verticle line, but it's below centre so that makes me not so sure..

Heading more towards an L though, lol.

I think it's an L too.

It's very hard to tell - blocky mpeg compression has blured it up a bit.

The captures were off 9HD too - if only they filmed everything in native HD resolution instead of upscaling 90% of content.

pull interior out to dry, replace all blown fuses, drop sump pull rocker covers and plugs, spin it over after fresh oil, send body to panel shop, then refit all components and away he can go again, why would he write car off if no insurance cover?.
looks like the wood all floated in while car was in pool as windscreen only has a few stars on it, very lucky.
