DJR, so there are at least a couple of people doing the rounds looking for men overboard? I sometimes wandered the deck at nights and you'd be lucky to see anyone around. I guess you'd be in a bit of a pickle if you went overboard in the middle of the night when the sea is choppy.

you do have security walking around the ship, but they are focussed on things taking place onboard, not over the side!!! have a look at a plan of the REAL largest cruiseship in the world http://www.royalcaribbean.com/multim...ipClassCode=FR Last edited by DJR David; 21-02-2007 at 10:51 AM. |

Personally because of the lack of an AFT lookout, I'm not too keen on cruise ships. lol

I actually kinda regret not going back to see the QE2 come in. Would have been great to see the QE2 and QM2 pipe each other.

yeah she's pretty small boat. I recon a fiesta could tow it. Mind the bridge clearance though:
from news.com.au This one is amazing - QE2 foreground, QM2 background. Tied up at the wharf are two of our Adelaide class frigates - those small long grey things. IE QE2 and QM2 are big. album here:http://www.news.com.au/gallery/0,236...007150,00.html |
