Ah you young guys never had it so good...
I remember the days when you couldn't buy a black car unless you were able to find at least ten other people who also wanted a black car, because of the difficulty in getting the color out of the lines. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe now they start the day on light colours and work thier way down the colour spectrum to black to minimise cleaning. |

Yes the current colour range is a joke...
Glad i got my Dash GT when I did. If i went again tomorrow it would have to be Nitro or Vixen, both with black stripes. Hopefully they will bring some bright colours back soon for XR / FPV, it feels like a role reversal with Holden back in the VX Days. White, Silver, Red, Black or Tiger Mica in the early VX SS's. |

I agree, pretty boring range atm.
Last 3 I've had are: Blood Orange (1st BA Pursuit built in it, and awesome colour) Then Mercury Silver (XR6T) Looked great in the sunlight. Then Bionic (Typhoon) and still my pick of all Ford colours. Now boring black XR50T(looks classy when clean though)

Worst thing they did was ditching black in EF and EL's. There's an XH XR8 ute in Melbourne CBD in black (owner says it's factory?) and it looks sweet as. But I love Breeze (yes I own one), Toxic and Phantom...

You need people to train 100 casuals, otherwise they will be walking around doing nothing. And no way can they perform better than us, it would take them at least 12 months to teach them what to do. |

Car colours follow interior design colours by 5 years........or lead......cant remeber which way they are related.
So the colours your seeing on cars today will either be the house colours you see in 5 years......or what you saw 5 years ago The only constants are black and white...........

If the paint is delivered and it still does the job then I suspect you are not going to have one. |

It seems if you want any colour you need to go and grab a Holden. The only colours I keep seeing of the Falcons and smaller Fiesta's etc is White, Bright Green, Blue, Grey and black. I haven't seen a Yellow, Orange, Purple etc for a long time (Im on the Central Coast). I would like to see something a bit more different and out there, I don't mind silver, brown, dark green...I haven't even seen a new Ford in red yet! :(

Funny thing is it would cost no more to paint a nice colour as a bad one. I'm not a fan of bright colours but there is not much in the current range for me other than , silhouette, Seduce an Nitro...

They should have called it 'Mustard', as it is almost the same colour as that Mild American stuff.

the colour range is disappointing.
all i wanted was an F6 in Dash or Octane. They but they don't make them. So i went second hand, still couldn't find any with the colour and options that i wanted. They need to bring back Dash!! and the silver from the late AU's Toxic was the best but wouldn't look good on an FG. having said that i purchased an F6 in "steel" and im very happy. It almost looks purple sometimes, haven't seen any F6's with the same colour just F6E's. |

Ive got an FG in the NITRO Blue colour, still amazes me how bright it is in the sun.
Planning on painting my Esky Van in the Focus XR5 Orange, Electric Orange Pearl, even on the most miserable day the Orange stands out. An FG in the Focus Orange... mmmmm |

You can have any colour you want as long as it is some shade of grey.

i own Blood Orange, love how you stand out, and it catches your eye. My favourite color is from the VE range called, Kapow. A Blue & Purple Metallic.
