Exclamation

We have just test fitted the 4th prototype and it FITS!! :

The angle to the driver looks good, vision wise

All we have to do now is get the paint matched to the console and fixing it
will be the next task (how to)

Brian will be making the aluminium resin die over the weekend, hopefully we should have the gauge holder ready for production soon

The photo doesn't do it justice as the pod looks awesome/fully sick in real life

Believe me, it looks a lot better in the flesh than what the photos suggest.
It was our car in the photo.
The colour contrast looks very good, it just needs to be more of a satin finish to match the heater/radio fascia.
By the way, the gauge holder is as it came from the mould, unpainted.
When colour matched it will be fantastic!

I don't suppose i could get the silver rings in red could I?

Oh, how well does it fit with gauges installed? Does it require drilling into the tray underneath?

The silver rings actually are apart of the gauge itself. We dont actually sell the gauges. Those gauges I brought off ebay - http://cgi.ebay.com.au/New-OPTION-36...QQcmdZViewItem

The gauges fit snug - push in

Those tyre pressure gauges that came with VZ HSV's would be a worth while addition. Wouldn't be cheap though. I'll try and find a link.

I will look at an EL as soon as I get a chance to work out guage positioning. At the moment my daughter wants me to make one for her Hyundai. I think I need to get her Exercised and in a FORD.

If you are after nice gauges ... that cost a packet .... have a look at the DEFI range.

Look in the gauge section.
They run a power-on self-test ... and light up in stages when turned on.
Pretty funky gauges ... and very pricise as well.

Mainly used on imports though.
Pricey as mentioned.
