we are looking like a no go now as the Envi hasnt gone to get fixed yet so i doubt we will get it back in time for next week- we will probaly come up for a look though, just wont be entering the cars- buit i wont remove our names from the list quite yet

i had a chuckle when i saw that, part of your car makes it into another promo, pity there is all the wording over the top.
must give you a good feeling having a car that is used for various promotional vids/flyers, a testominy to how good your car is so on to a trailer & towed up behind the wagon??

i dont think the wagon would have the guts to tow the envi!!! BUt on a better note we have organised for Stef from Showtow transport to pick up the car and take it to Preston Automatics tommorrow so fingers crossed they can get the job done ready for the show next week- and maybe if things really work out it may get tuned while it is gone- i guess we will have to say goodbye to the car again and hope its not for as long this time!!!

8.00 Gates open (competitors) 8.00-9.00 Scrutineering and Show & Shine setup 9.00 Public entry 9.15-11.30 Test & Tune. Timed runs on the 1/8 mile track to decide brackets 11.30-12.00 Break. Show & Shine judging commences 12.00-12.45 Straight-line Burnout comp. Style, speed, smoke and noise on the strip 1.00-1.15 Darren DiFilippo's Top Fuel Mustang display. See 6000+Hp unleashed in all its noisy beauty! 1.15-2.00 Go to Whoa. Elimination comp. Where big brakes and a good launch can beat big engines! 2.00-4.00 1/8th mile drag racing. DYO Eliminations. Cars will be paired up based on morning times 4.15-4.30 1/8th mile drag racing. DYO Drag Racing prizes: Winners in each of the three brackets will be awarded a 'Blown V8 eclectic drink vessel' from Ceramic Innovations, worth over $300. Straight line burnouts: Winner will be awarded a $500 voucher for any Wheels Direct products (wheels, tyres etc).
