Road cars:

LJ Torana XU-1 Bathurst homologation (200 made)
HDT VH Group 3 with the stroker engine option
LX SS A9X hatchback
HG GTS Monaro
VK Blue meanie
VN Group A

Race cars:

The HDT A9X that David Bowden owns
The two (?) HDT “beasts” – LJ’s with mid-mounted V8’s
Bob Janes 308 LC/LJ Torana sports sedan
Ron Harrops EH sports sedan
Chev Off Road & Marines yellow LJ Torana – complete with a 454 big block
Brock’s fluoro VK Group 3.
Grice/Small’s Roadways Commodore

And spare a thought to the ones that didn’t make it all the way. The prototypes

LJ GTR-X coupe – they were meant to be right up to printing the brochures when they pulled the pin on it. Good looks, fiberglass body, XU-1 mechanicals,I’d still like one
LJ XU-2 prototypes – 3 made with 5.0 V8’s, the “Lockwood” specials, one a Strike me pink color, all wound up in the crusher
LX Mystere Torana – short wheelbase, Recaro interior, custom panels. I saw one (a replica?) out at Calder once.
Monaro 7.0 litre – double wishbone fronts suspension, 7.0 GM Motorsport block, only two made

XU1`s, SLR`s, or just Toranas in general. VK-VH Brocks, VL`s where and still are a great car, just a shame they are given a bad name by idiots. OLD Monaros, new ones suck. Sandmans, Kingswoods.

I have a big big soft spot for VB-VC commodores especially the brocks. Basiclly any commdore up to VK.

Those blue meany VK SS`s are a mean mean machine though.

I dont think anyone can argue that GTR`s and SLRs where just a mean and great looks car, wether you like Holden or not, a 202 that runs a 14.7 is a pretty mean little car, and thats quicker than my XR8!

HK T G Monaro (very nice ) ( had a HK )
HQ J Monaro Coupe ( had a HQ )
VK 5ltr ( very nice car had a mild mod 1 )
haven`t really had much to do with them since then late 80`s early 90`s
Did have a VS 5ltr company ute that I drove to within an inch of it`s life though

HQ 4 door for me, 253 4 speed. I had one in the mid 80's and it was a beast you couldn't kill with a stick..... or if I could find one ,a HQ Sandman windowless van in yellow; 308 4 speed naturally

VX/VY/VZ SS's really do it for me. Also HQ's and VR/VS Clubbies with that roaring 5ltr also take my fancy.
