hmmm....
I plan on arriving at 9am (apparently you can't queue before that). It will be a dream come true if I can get inside the inner circle.

They sang a 'few' old songs... I was a little disappointed with the newer songs... but they still rocked... The Edge sure can play...

Well, I double checked my ticket thursday, and realised I has Friday Night tickets. So after starting work at 6pm Thursday night and finishing at 6am, it was straight down to telstra stadium. Got there around 9am, and was one of the first couple hundred inside. Got right to the front center stage.

Was a great show, and I actually managed to stay awake till 2am Saturday morning (when I got home). 66 hours awake.

As far as the concert, a great show, the rear screen thing was amazing, especially when it was used for the first time. It actually started to rain about 2 minutes before U2 came on the stage, quiet heavily, for about 20 minutes, then another shower later during the show.

I went last night. WOW is all I can say. Its my first open air large superstar type concert. I was amazed at the emotion and I'd give that concert 15/10. Sunday Bloody Sunday was the best song there I reckon but its always been a favourite of mine. Simply awesome.

Just got home from Sydney, what can i say about the show.........DEADSET FAN-**********-TASIC, 20 out of 10, unbelieveable, the best ever. We lined up around 10.30 in the sun all day and about 12 hours standing, but it doesnt worry me. It's going to take a lot to go close to seeing a better show! We were front row on the right arm of the elipse. I'll definity be going again when U2 are back.

Took a few vids and pic of the phone too. Here's some.

This one's a little blurry

Bakes, that first pic of the screen looks amazing. I was too close to really get that effect.

How good did it look when Bono told everyone to hold up their mobile phones

Here are a couple I took with my phone. Im suprised how well they actually turned out.
I'll be taking my digital camera tonight though...

Stage during daylight hours

Sorry to dig this up, but I went last night and it was fuggin awesome! KW sucked because you couldn't understand him, which is a shame because a few of his songs are good.

But U2, WOW! Ive never been a huge fan, but that was the best show Ive ever been to! I couldn't believe the crowd, bloody huge!

A mate of mine called me up on Saturday to go with him after he was able to get 2 tix worth $600 each for only $200. I think they were box seats with meal etc. Absolutely shattered that i had to say no because of other committments!
