Now let me get this right, I'm 6'10 and weight 22 stone and i have never needed to recline a seat in any car i have ever owned. I would like to know why others think they need to. I even drove a Mini and a 2CV Citron as well as cars with sun roofs, for a few years and never had any trouble with there seating position.

I am in the same boat as you, I am just under 6'11" And I also way in at 137kilos, and I am also driving an Au Xr8 but no need to recline the seat. Yes the Au's are rather badly designed for tall people though with the angle of the windscreen.

And my first car was also a mini clubman 1100 and had no trouble getting in and out of that.

I'm 6'7" (201 cm) and have been driving a Mitsubishi Mirage for the past 5 months while I save for my next Ford. I have no trouble at all fitting in it comfortably.
