I use to run 9 and 10's for around 10 years it does not bother me at all nowadays.
15 sec is fast enough to kill your self, in some cars if you can't drive that well.
So would you let a learner driver behind the wheel of something faster ?

23 second cars is fast enough to kill yourself ....... but trying to understand the relationship to the topic? L platers can drive fast in a Kia ....... and the topic is more to do with being quick rather than just outright speed?

My dad said to me once back in 1984 don't let you mum drive you car ever again.
The reason was it was to powerful for her to drive and that she could loose control of it.
Not many people are capable of handling a car that is faster than 15 sec.

A fast 400m time for what ?
A bike ? from 12's
A street car ? from 15's
A drag car ? maybe 11's

Was the 400m sprint actually a vehicular version of the 100m sprint for humans? Anybody who can cover 100m on foot on 10 seconds is a good sprinter, while someone who can cover it in 8 seconds is an amazing sprinter. Do it in 6 seconds or less and you're no longer human.. Same can be said about a streetcar in the 400m sprint

What GT you got?

If it's a GT335 you def need to sack your tuna

Stockas do 12.5

Tune only ($800 worth of mods) do 11.9 if conditions and driver are ideal

Maybe you are taking about older ones but......

Most guys really do not understand how fast a 10 or 11 sec car is.

Most exotics are 12 sec and 11 sec cars, most supercars/hypercars ar 10 sec cars and a few are 9 sec cars.

Most of the above cars start at $150,000.00.

Here are some examples:

2014 Audi R8 Plus 5.2 V10 Coupe (Tiptronic) 0-60 mph 3.2 Quarter Mile 11.3

2013 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse 0-60 mph 2.4 Quarter Mile 9.9

2013 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta 0-60 mph 3.0 Quarter Mile 11.0

2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 0-60 mph 2.8 Quarter Mile 10.7

2011 McLaren MP4-12C 0-60 mph 2.9 Quarter Mile 10.8

2014 McLaren P1 0-60 mph 2.8 Quarter Mile 9.8

2013 Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe Black Series 0-60 mph 3.6 Quarter Mile 11.9

2014 Mercedes CLS63 AMG S Model 0-60 mph 3.1 Quarter Mile 11.5

2014 Nissan GT-R 0-60 mph 2.9 Quarter Mile 11.0

2014 Porsche 911 GT3 0-60 mph 3.0 Quarter Mile 11.1

That car is a real rocket ship, but I didn't see a claim that it's standard. The intercooler certainly doesn't look stock.

If you look at my post with the GPS data on the other forum I think it's pretty obvious that a stock XR6T could get a 12.3 if shallow staged, but the speed would be about 5 mph slower than your speed.
The 12.509 that I got was with no apparent wheelspin and the 60 foot time was 1.934 seconds.

Later in the night I got a 12.841 with a bit of wheelspin and the 60 foot time was 2.128 seconds.

70k wow, I can't see it myself unless it's been built twice over or every mod was done individually and dynoed after.

I have always wanted a 10 second street car and always thought that was bloody fast. I'll be happy if my te will get a 10.99 when done, but after that it'll get setup for corners. I would just like to crack a ten.

I'm guessing you're manually shifting, so under 12 is reasonable shifting.

Those mods and that boost with the whipple you should be running high 120s maybe 130 through the trap? If you haven't got mid 400 rwkw need new tuner.

I've done 11.8 on nitto invo 255s, and 11.4 on et streets with the manual with around 450, trapping at 128.

Any b series running sub 12 is impressive, you should be happy with yours, don't chase faster ETs.

My 2cents

Back in 2011 when my ute was a 6sp manual, built 5.4 260 with the 2.6KB it ran a couple of 10.9s @ 129mph and a heap of low 11s and that was fast. It was alot harder getting that down the strip with a manual than it is now with the new combo running low 9s @ 147mph!

There are quite a few late model street cars now running into the 9s and I would call them very fast! 10s fast and 11s quick. My old 2011 335 would run 12.3 after 12.3 stock in the late model era I would call that an average time.

QIK1s F6 running into the 8s in full street trim apart from a set of 17" MTs on the rear I call ridiculous fast!

OK here's my 2 cents
(for streets driven cars)
I think a normally aspirated full street car isn't a lot faster now than they were back in the mid 90s
I used to drive to the track and race my fully engineered BB Capri in full street trim and full steel body on M&H street/drag tires with a full exhaust and would usually crack a high 9 at around 137mph so it seems to be about the limit of what most people would consider a real street driver,

"Normally Aspirated"
9s for none original V8 engines
10s for original type V8 engines
11s for original type 6 cyl engines
as for Boosted I don't really know
