Whatever way you look at it, hooning should not be acceptable in any form in residential areas. Sure, dropping a skid or two can be really fun, but there are certain places where this sort of behaviour should never leave. One kid dropping a skid might be encouraged by John his mate to do more dangerous things, and boom, you get people doing mini-races in no time. And people get killed. |

Its called residential for a reason.... this is where people live, sometimes VERY close together and sometimes to the detriment of others. If people are unable to get along with their neighbours and act like bogans or ferals constantly, why does everyone else have to put up with it?
There is a time and place for everything and you come to expect some "acceptable" noise where you live.... but having twats like these doing it constantly just winds EVERYONE else up to the point where people start taking matters into their own hands because the law is sometimes very slow. This happened in Townsville a few years ago where some young "hoons" were constantly doing burnouts in a small dead end street. A resident had enough of the constant hooning and tried to confront them. He was run down deliberately by these young idiots and they then turned around and tried to run him down a second time. If you believe acting like an idiot in a residential area where kids, old people, families live, is socially acceptable then you seriously have rocks in your head. If you continually push people to the brink and think its haha funny because you think your tough, then eventually someone will come round with a 4by2 and do you over..... I live next door to ferals and used to have young morons (who are now thankfully gone) who drove around in an unregistered commodore and would constantly do burnouts and travel up and down the road at very high speed. Want to act like a idiot? buy some acreage and move out of town... a long way out.

It seems like these guys are doing it purely to annoy a particular neighbour.
Using the Torana as an example; Why else would you pull up in your driveway, then back out and do a burnout just to put it back in the garage. I wonder what more to this story there is. |

Aussie bogan work at it's finest, giving A Current Affair & Today Tonight a reason to broadcast. VB and southern cross tattoos a plenty... Just very glad not to be living near this calibre of scum.
Burnouts in residential streets where children could be playing etc... disgraceful. Now... where's that sterilisation wand? |

LOL, no you can't do whatever you want in my street and my cop neighbour would ensure of that.
Being a cop doesn't make you above the law, in fact i'm sure the Police dept. would be interested in one of their own hooning in a suburban street ![]() |

If you what most road users, they are knowingly (uncaring?) driving more danerous than someone doing a burnout. Difference, you can see and hear a burnout. The others driver dangerously and no one notices. When was the last time someone was injured or died in Aust from a burnout? The road toll is what, 270+?

how come the police booked that F1 driver for his little skid, but won't go around this neighbourhood to talk to these people doing full out burnout?

Somewhat relevant:
http://www.news.com.au/national/poli...-1226222390731 Whether or not dangerous drivers need to be *****-slapped, it's totally not worth throwing your police career away (not to mention damaging public perception of all police everywhere) for a couple of grubs |

Cheap security camera, only taking snaps at a few frames per second. When it's played back at full speed (25fps) it looks fast.

Simple solution is to get married at Summernats!
You should try living near a T junction on a dirt road, every wanna be rally driver that tries to be a drift king usually runs out talent pretty quick! |
