Where's the respect lorpy? Grow up and have some manners. A bit more input rather than a useless and (I believe rude) comment would be more appropriate and in line with the friendly, helpful nature of this forum. This bloke has done an awesome job and would be in the 0.1% of people here who have the skills and vision to create something like this. Ford Australia should be keeping tabs and employing/contracting someone of his calibre....much better than hiring people from overseas. I reckon it looks pretty bloody good! It's not meant to be an European sports car.... its a Falcon.... a classic Australian family car. Thumbs up from me.

Draw up a GT version, with a few more air inlets here and there and a real bonnet scoop. Breathe some real sports looks into it. Ford haven't had a real muscle car for ages. They desperately need one. Who cares about fuel consumption. They're will always be people who can afford a real muscle car with serious credentials. I wonder if the Coyote V8 will still be around then. I love the Ecoboost 3.5 V6 but a muscle car MUST have a V8 with about 400kW by 2017.
Even a coupe GT would look nice.

To me, it's what I wish the FG had've looked more like instead of what we're left with at the moment! 9/10 from me!

Everyone is intitled to an opinon.
I'd admit the might appear somewhat dated buy 2017, but this is only a lazy photo shop based on whats available now. My main (well, one of them) reason for creating this thread was to create some positive atmosphere amongst all the negativity... My interest in design is no more then a hobby, and anyone's criticism is welcomed. Its just good to see a discusion on the falcon beyond 2017. The fact is that costs are going to be cut (shared) in some form and the token falcon we have now may not exist in the future.

I'm thinking bulge + lip spoiler...
Very nice, but I think the front bumper is too close to VE to be plausible. |

Solid effort on the XR version mate.
Only suggestions I'd make is to put a front lip spoiler on it, either colour coded or black, and make the gaps where the DRLs are slightly smaller. Otherwise, looks good. |

Really like the XR photo. Well done - front, spoiler and wheels look A+.
ps: A car looking as good as that deserves only T or 8! At least then it doesn't end up being a rental car for Avis/Europ etc like FG XR........ |

need to lower the front bumper slightly to tie in with the side and rear skirt depth.
Bulge? To stripe kit or not? (obviously not overdone tacky though.) Otherwise looks good. |

I still don't really like the idea of this being the Falcon's next shape, but that's just my little opinion... looks like it'd be more suitable as the next Mondeo, and it would be a brilliant looking one too! Keep up with these great chops. |

Brilliant effort nikked. I'm not blowing smoke when I say you should consider actually emailing or ringing ford and asking for a week or two of work experience.
I think at the end they'll have a contract paying 5, if not 6 figures, ready for you to sign.. If not you should just keep hassling them. Ford needs positive thinkers.

That looks good. An FPV version would look awesome, then add AWD like rumours Ive heard about the next gen models and it would be a giant killer!

Colour reminds me of 'Velocity' that was on the BA-BF Falcons. Was my favourite colour until 'Nitro' came along! I reckon in a 5 door (which would work with what you've already done) that thing has pose, great cabin space and versatility. I would buy it for sure!

Nikked, fantastic! Thank you for the wagon! At least you've made a new Falcon wagon, lol! That with LPG and 6 seats in G6/G6E trim, please...
For the integration of the sloping doorline into the back of the car, take a look at the XC Falcon wagons, they had the rear door curl upward to meet the rear window. Cheers! |

Ford has just done a new concept of the Falcon... it's called the Taurus. This irks me to the extreme, that they would style the new Taurus off of the last Falcon. (I hope FoMoCo go bankrupt)

It's an evolution of the global corporate look.
