I got one

Swine Flu
i had swine flu a couple of years ago, at that time never in my life had i been closer to death, no joking around, i would have written my will out had i had the energy
,
i was expecting my ticker to stop at any moment when it was at its worst, the bloody illness just took hold and day after day it just grinds you down, week after week it just kept right on going, massive difficulty breathing + the usual symptoms of flu, constant nose wiping, full in the head and lungs, every bone and muscle in your body aches, and zero energy to move,
it probably went for about 6 weeks in my case, what reminded me of this this is i currently have the good old normal flu(rolls eyes) .......... still not much fun but not quite as bad,
So i think it worthy of a jeez i hate that !

Thieves. Worthless scum!! My sons ute was broken into last night, all his power tools and a bag full of hand tools taken. A big hit for an apprentice builder. Ute was parked on our front lawn behind a low hedge in an out of the way court where all the neighbours are pretty vigilant. Good quiet area where there's never any trouble. The ute has an ARB canopy which was locked, the scum forced the locks to get it open.

Waiting for the police to attend. Looks like a security upgrade effective immediately. Those scumbags will be back for the replacement gear. They just may meet a very angry Bearman instead.

God damn oxygen thieving scum. Geez I hate them!

In such a quiet spot you have to suspect it was someone who knew the tools were there, which makes it even worse IMO, because now you start to second guessing yourself and spending weeks brooding over suspecting whether your mates might be involved.

The police report there has been a spate of theft from cars in my general area. They also report there has been a big spike across Melbourne generally of tradies vehicles being targeted and taking tools. They're taking this fairly seriously and putting resources into it as this isn't an isolated case.

I reckon its opportunists. Probably saw my son's ute and followed it to our address, come around at a later time for a look to see whats there then return again to do the burg.

What galls me is that we heard some activity at the end of our driveway, I was still up and our dog barked. It sounded like someone turning around at the end of our court. I went out for a look and saw nothing amiss. The more I think about it the more I believe this was their reconnisance, noting which lights were on, response time to noise etc. I reckon they returned much later and would have noticed no lights etc. They were quick as they grabbed only what could be easily extracted and carried, it wasnt a clean out.

It really craps me off to think I only just missed the feckers doing their reconnisance. Hopefully the money they get buys the drugs they OD on. Dirty scum!!!

Similar thing happened to me last week, it really just stuffs you around!
What annoys me is the BOLDED warning at the top of the time sheet stating to sign on/off daily, then for the person doing the pay to stuff it up on their end

having payroll decide they're randomly going to pay you based on some ridiculous theory they have on how your return to full time work agreement is set out, which completely goes against your contract (I'm salary so I get my hours of unpaid removed from my monthly salary, not paid for the hours I do). Yeah. Thanks to that doozy I nearly only had enough to pay the ******* rent this month.
All because the new hr chick told them I'd increased my hours, rather than just.... Letting them do what they have been doing for months

Driving on a freeway behind a car with automatic headlights.Do the lights really need to come on for the one second it takes to go under a bridge or overpass?

In this day and age, why do restaurants still insist on having someone do the rounds with that ****y cracked pepper grinder. You gotta sit there like a ponce while they lean over your shoulder and what for you to say the magic words "that will do". Last time I checked pepper was as cheap as chips if not cheaper, surely if I'm paying $55 for my steak they can have a pepper grinder on each table and I'll help myself...geez I hate that!

Oh yeah, and the passing lanes along Lancefield Rd.

computer man say "video card gone"..................

I say "where the bloody hell has that gone, it cant get out of the Imac"

computer man says "cost $635 to fix, would you like a new one, this one getting old"

"how much" I say

"$2300" he say

"too much, you fix old one"

I cant seem to keep computers alive..............survival time is roughly 3 years in my care and yet others have computers that kept track of the animals boarding noah's ship??????

$2300 for a video card?!?!?! Can you please go and quietly punch him square in the face....You can get a graphics card for as cheap as $120 depending on what pin the computer motherboard has, then its just like changing an air filter. Out with the old in with the new, install drivers and off you go.

Probably right, but still that's a horrible over quote for poppa as I assumed he has no need for a 'gaming' machine and more does day to day browsing which he could spend $500 for something that does just that.

Poor form.... Google is a wonderful thing

$2300 is for whole new machine that I can buy through apple direct for $1999 with free postage............he seemed to think my imac is getting a bit long in the tooth and that the power supply will go next, followed by the hard drive.

new video card, plus install, is $634.....($409 for card $225 for labour).............not counting $25 freight and the $90 for "bench testing".

I need the speed and power for photo's...........we travel a lot and have umpteen trillion photos that I process through light room or Photoshop.

plus it is just a nice machine to use.

currently using nanna smurfs Toshiba laptop running windows 8.1............someone please shoot me now!!!!!!!!!!
