What annoys me is the BOLDED warning at the top of the time sheet stating to sign on/off daily, then for the person doing the pay to stuff it up on their end

Driving on a freeway behind a car with automatic headlights.Do the lights really need to come on for the one second it takes to go under a bridge or overpass?

In this day and age, why do restaurants still insist on having someone do the rounds with that ****y cracked pepper grinder. You gotta sit there like a ponce while they lean over your shoulder and what for you to say the magic words "that will do". Last time I checked pepper was as cheap as chips if not cheaper, surely if I'm paying $55 for my steak they can have a pepper grinder on each table and I'll help myself...geez I hate that!

Cars that suddenly speed up to the speed limit on freeways and divided roads after I pull out to pass them.

Drove to and from Shepparton today. Not just once or twice, between Shep and Broadford I catch up to cars that were far in the distance while having the cruise control set on 110 (the speed limit), pull out into the right lane to pass, then each one decides to speed up to the speed limit.
Oh yeah, and the passing lanes along Lancefield Rd. |

Hmmm! computer no go, all spotty and stripy now refusal to start, shaking and hitting it did no good so my technical skills quickly came to their limit.
computer man say "video card gone".................. I say "where the bloody hell has that gone, it cant get out of the Imac" computer man says "cost $635 to fix, would you like a new one, this one getting old" "how much" I say "$2300" he say "too much, you fix old one" I cant seem to keep computers alive..............survival time is roughly 3 years in my care and yet others have computers that kept track of the animals boarding noah's ship??????

Companies that fill review sites with (fake) beautifully scripted infomercial style testimonials to try and raise their abysmal 1 star rating that they have received from real posters.
Poor form.... Google is a wonderful thing

Probably right, but still that's a horrible over quote for poppa as I assumed he has no need for a 'gaming' machine and more does day to day browsing which he could spend $500 for something that does just that.

When you leave a note on a job saying you've already performed the work you can on it and it's now up to someone else to complete it, to have that EXACT same job reassigned to you saying please advise if you have done this.
Ahhh... read the ****in note you tard. Geez I hate that.

$2300 is for whole new machine that I can buy through apple direct for $1999 with free postage............he seemed to think my imac is getting a bit long in the tooth and that the power supply will go next, followed by the hard drive.
new video card, plus install, is $634.....($409 for card $225 for labour).............not counting $25 freight and the $90 for "bench testing". I need the speed and power for photo's...........we travel a lot and have umpteen trillion photos that I process through light room or Photoshop. plus it is just a nice machine to use. currently using nanna smurfs Toshiba laptop running windows 8.1............someone please shoot me now!!!!!!!!!!

Don't know how handy you are, but could always build one yourself? Or look at places like centrecom and computer parts land who sell prebuilt computers at a decent price.

I've got a tower, keyboard, mouse and LCD monitor stuffed under the desk from around 3 or 4 years ago that got dust ingress and blew up the motherboard, I've often looked at it and thought "maybe"..........but then I go and find something else to do, doesn't matter what it is.

Mate, I have a pc with a 10yr old power supply and hard drive and it's still going strong and another HD that's at least 7yrs old and gets a flogging day in and day out as it's part of my media storage. As for $90 to "bench test", that seems a bit rude. Tell you what, get whatever graphics card you think appropriate, use the money you saved to pay for fuel and bring the whole lot to me and I'll do the swap and plug it in and turn it on, oh...er...I mean "bench test it". Then we'll go spend the day fishing. You can choose between fishing for yellow fin whiting around here or going to Gunya beach and having a bit of sport fighting the salmon.

So I buy some. Only to find later that day that they're also on sale in the supermarket & even bloody cheaper!!! I said to myself whilst in the pharmacy, "well what if they're on special at coles....na' I'll buy some here, they're cheap today". DAMMIT! I HATE THAT. |

The computer guy is probably right though, your power supply and hard drive will fry next in short order as it's reached it's use by date. Thanks Apple. You'd be better off telling a tech. what you want to do with your PC and get them to build you a custom unit. It'll last a damn site longer than a pre fab, and be easier to fix and upgrade periodically.
