I thought I remember hearing this. Seems GM did want them to remove all Holden signage. Obviously some don't want to.
And what are GM going to do if the dealers don't remove the signs ? Refuse to supply them with Camaros ?

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

The dealership in Crookwell still has its Holden sign up, and it hasn't been open for probably 25 years.
(it's done up as a residence)

Do a Google search for the Holden Dealer in Peak Hill N.S.W.

There's an Unsold VS Commodore still sitting in the Showroom..

This was the original reason I posted the pics, this dealer is still operating as a Holden dealership.
Holden cars for sale with a vast spare parts inventory.

Pull the pin on their parts supply. Or supply of Silverados if they are a GMSV dealer.

Ford Explorer; XC station wagon, white, couldn't see if it was on full reg (other side of highway); XY Fairmont (?) wagon, gold colour (other side of highway as well).

MK 1 Cortina - saw heaps of them today as small saloon cars went around Philip Island track; must be historic racing there, this weekend.

Saw an 80s Mitsubishi Colt the other day, what was even more surprising was that it wasn't blowing blue smoke.
Those were the cars you would avoid pulling up behind at the traffic lights back in the day if you didn't want a face full of oil smoke.
It and early Magnas.

I don't know if it was the same problem, a mechanic told me Sigmas had an issue with valve stem seals. He said you could add a brand name upper cylinder lubricant or his old school fix was too add 300 ml of engine oil to 5 Litres of petrol in a jerry can mix and empty into the fuel tank every 4th fill up. It worked for me.

Speaking of early Magna's

The pic does this car way more justice than it deserves, the wheels being worth more than the car.

My father bought a white manual 1990 Magna wagon as the family car when my sister was born. I only vaguely remember it as I was only 4 at the time.

Dad only bought that car as he had a mate who sold them new at the Mitsubishi dealer, he hated that car. I'm pretty sure this would have been his first experience driving a FWD car. He later told me of the thing ploughing into understeer and being terrible in the wet.

Two years later, that Magna got traded on two EB II Falcon GLi wagon company cars, one of which was the first car I ever drove and I would later learn to drive in.

He was so put off with FWD that he didn't buy another front driver until the 2011 Mondeo Titanium EcoBoost, and even then, I had to convince him that things had come a long way since the 1990 Magna.

My dad also bought a magna safari wagon in 1990. The first motor went within 12 months so back for warrenty. Mitsubishi refused a new motor but a reco instead, so not a reco of the original motor, a different one. Dad said keep it and took the trade in cash for it at a loss. My old man was about to recieve a company vehicle anyways. They toyota cressida grande was a pretty fancy car back then.

Couple of Rice Burners you no longer see many of.

Yellow Holden ute tucked in behind and a mum's Terri alongside on shopping duty.

I figured there'd be a few Westralians that recognised it, it is something you would notice in traffic.
