Sorry for the average pics.
I have a soft spot for the smaller Torries.
Saw this at a car show on Australia Day.
Only took 2 images of it (I needed a wider lens on the day as there were that many people there it was packed).

drool.

I've owned a fair few Fords and Holdens. I regret selling my LC Torana because of drive-in memories with the girls and I did like the VL Turbo. The five V8's have been good to me. The VE is by far the best car I've ever owned in all facets, but if I was after a project car I'd be going the HG Monaro Coupe in a Canary Yellow.

My Holden selection is:

Torana SLR5000 Sedan, they just look tough!!

Torana XU-I, the epitomie of '70's cool!!

Commodore VK Group A, the Blue meanie. I generally don't like Commodores but this particular one I love!!

As for the current stuff, I do like the VE range. They are a good looking car and I'd be quite happy with a Calais V in the driveway.

I was expecting a lot of people to say the VL turbo. but in my opinion, the gold monaro CV8Z... very very nice tough solid built car. would have one any day!

I'm quite fond of this one, but it will go soon to make way for a ???

Otherwise. I'm a LC XU1 fan, my second car (1st was a 1100 Mk1 Escort).

Failing that. I'd like this.
Which is fast heading out of my reach and probably back home to Aus.

From the "modern" era

A9X
Various HSV/HDT VL variants
VN SV5000

I'm pretty fond of most of the classics, Ford, GMH, Chrysler, whatever.

VN Grp A SS, one of the fastest 4 doors back in the day.

I can agree there I owned a HT serbing Orange HT Monaro GTS in the late70's early 80's so they are my favourite Holden tragic part was I traded it on a Charger 360cu and only got $1,500 trade in. It was a 308 2 speed auto though but still would bring decent money now as I was the second owner and sold it with all service and ownership papers in the glove box.

I dug up an old pic of it taken about 1981 the only 1 I could find of it.
