I won class 3 NSW with 240.3rwkws so that should make him happy, he just needs to find out WA results looking good for the outright champion.

lol....it was a crack up to see the car (Toyota Coralla) on the rollers. Good on him for doing it though....not quite sure what his other car is but I don't think it was running so he turned up anyway with this beast.

He did finish second in his class though...or last, depending on which way you look at it. :hihi:

I had a few fuel issues and made only 222rwkw, came 4th i think. But was a fun day anyway. I was the token old car on the day, being the only carb'd car there and the only pre 1995 car as well. Funny thing i noticed was my car put out as much Nm (was about 7500 Nm) as a 290rwkw F6 and a 350rwkw supercharged commodore. Anyone know how Nm relates to torque?

Its actually Newtons of tractive effort (As opposed to Nm of torque), and is dependent on the gearing and tire rolling diameter. Its the Force availabe to accelerate the vehicle.

Just checked my graph and your right. N not Nm. So is Newtons good for comparing two different vehicles or just another tool when fine tuning your own. (So why is it there on our graph?)

You should be happy with the ute mate, a very nice car with a great sound! Yes I was stoked with 208.8 rwkw! After talking with lowride260 this seems to be a pretty good number. A big thanks to Spiro and the crew at Autotech for a great day. Congrats to lowride260 for taking class 3. Big pat on the back to Josh for not being scared (at least you could hear it idle) and banging out (well banging may not be the right word) an impressive number from such a sweet looking little car. Joe's GT rocks, you gotta love the sound of a V8 with trumpets and nothing to hide the sound. Aeron, great photo's, much better than mine. I was shaking too much, nerves hey.
BTW, to everyone who said "I'd go, but my cars stock". So's mine and I walked away with a trophy! Totally unexpected and very appreciated.

A very big THANK YOU to AFF!!

Later Brad....

its not the system mate just 'people' that commit to something then hide behind their keyboards instead of following thru or at least showing common courtesy by letting people know of a change of circumstance..

melbzetec - 75.3 - Runner Up
.......
You know what would make this a truely excellent list guys, would be a short list of mods done beside each car ( if people are happy to do so ) so we can get a feel of what you can aim for with a similar car. For instance I pulled 230 in a stock auto GT. Be nice to compare to the other GT's even though I know a few people will be reluctant to spill the beans on their tricks....

Just a thought!
