Congrats on the purchase Rod! Just need to source some nice LTD or Fairlane sportsman 10 way front seats and matching rear seats and door cards.
Thanks John, are you selling some? and are you looking to rejoin the AU club? (PS your old red beast went great today up and back to Newcastle)

Nice buy! I have always had a soft spot for the AU3 XR8 and yours looks like it has been well looked after and has plenty of life left in it.

I still can't believe that this one posted on the first page by au3xr6 has not yet sold! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/111141629...84.m1423.l2649

Im tempted to get myself to Orange! LOL

I agree. I guess itys distance. A bit to far for me to have a 'quick' look. Its bad enough I had to travel to the ACT to get my sons AU and now from Sydney to Newcastle. Why can't people with nice cars just live around the corner????

Well guys just drove back to Sydney from Newcastle. Car didn't miss a beat so; so far so good . Nice ride, easy pick up being a V8, everything worked (radio, cruise etc.) Not looking forward to pay Petrol prices BUT only for a few years and then I will see what I get next. Will start a build thread, Plastic surgery Version II !!!

Thanks to all who took part in this thread, I might copy the comments RE; AU’s and BA’s and let people add, speak their minds in that thread. So guys you haven’t got rid of me yet !!
UK (now officially a V8 hoon)
