well gang just got in another top day hanging with fellow FORD nuts, some realy nice cars with some good numbers , mine was down a bit on its last run but I will take my time slip any day . good to meet lots of new faces from the FPV,XR club & AU.com . thanks to G&D and thier staff for making this day possible & all those who came along to .. thanks also to the redxr8chick (Tracy) for a hand with the BBQ.. The snag eating comp was put off for another day way to many BIG BOYS there it could have cost big $$$ with no result.. :nutsycuck as it was 140 snags 80 odd burgers 12 loaves of bread 1.5 lts of tom.sauce.500mls of sweet chile & mustard,3kgs of oinons, washed
down with 5 slabs of soft drink not a bad effort : :
Cheers,, Whoosha ,,

Thanks to G&D for a hosting a fantastic day for us all! Let's see, I nearly got run over (thanks Matt), got pushed infront of a car (thanks Whoosha) got my head done in, got picked on - yeah good day LOL. Apart from that, it was nice to catch up with some people and meet some new faces. Had nothing but laughs!

Whoosha, Tracey and Mark (Spoolman) thanks for my black sausages ;)

My car was little down on numbers but it doesn't matter. I was there to have a good time and I did. And there sure were some beautiful cars there :sm_drool:

I'm looking forward to next one. Well, maybe - I'm not sure I like people trying to kill me lol :P

The Video files are gradually being uploaded to the gallery as I edit them.
Most of these files are between 1.5 and 4.5 Mb and have been shortened in some cases. For those who want copies I have the original 12-30 Mb files.

They can be found HERE

Cheers

Had a ripper of a day, people wise it was the best turn out I have seen at a dyno day. Thanks the fpv club for keeping the numbers and bringing there cars, the same for the AU guys good work.
Wooosha your greasy snags were ok, but mine were better..lol..

Matt's monaro frying for traction 489 rwkw what a monster.
another stock F6 228 RWKW.
RED SV8 - XR6 Turbo 303 rwkw from just a edit and injectors.
242 RWKW from the SRT 8 stock, shows good power.
Good work on the videos Russ thx.
Well done to the G&D Performance crew and that BiG screen is a snorter, no dyno day is complete without that screen.

Thanks (as always) to the many people who helped make the day a great time for all.

Glenn, Matt and the rest of the team for sparing the time to conduct the day and for the efficient way in which a lot of cars were handled.

Woosha and his assistants for keeping us all well fed during the day.

All who attended for sharing the experience with us.

Cheers
Russ

Thanks to the organisers for a great day, good to get out for a nice social gathering, thanks to G&D aswell.

Only thing i found strange was why they didnt put the foot to the floor in GRNKPR's XR falcon, sounded like they only gave it 1/2 throttle!!

Hi guys/gals , well done to everyone involved in making the dyno day event happen, got to see & hear some great cars getting their guts reved out , also got to meet some great people, was nice to put some faces to names at last.

The bigscreen dyno readout was great , gee the monaro and the typhoon opened my eyes ! ..lol . Big thanks to G&D for hosting the event on their premises and being very co-operative in the way of everyone wondering around and have a looksy / outside and inside the workshop .. ;)

Unfortunatelly due to a few family problems i wasn't able to make it there until around 1pm , but what i got to see and the people i met made it worth the effort to at least get down there to meet some people etc ;) , cheers everyone .

Lol , i accidentlly broke my top dentures this morning too , which i had to put in to be fixed which took the dyno run money out of my pocket + more.. A few of you might of noticed i had no top teeth today and i didn;t put my car on the dyno!, now you know my reasons ..lol ;) .

Anyone got any photo's from today ? ..... Simon ? ..lol ;)

Great day, with the weather holding out for us. Definately a lot nice cars, Unfortunately our car didnt run well, so we will have to get that checked sooner rather than later. Thanks to all for a great day.

Unfortunatly I couldnt hang around till the end however I want to thank everyone for coming and makine it a great day. More than once I got told it was the best run Dyno day they (the speaker) had been to. I think thats a credit to G&D's professionalism and knowledge and I'd like to thank Glenn, Dave, Matt and Justin (did I miss anyone) for going out of their way to hold such an exceptional day!

Also need to thank Whoosha and RedXR8Chick for the BBQ.. excellent food.. can we borrow the BBQ for the next major AU BBQ even in Feb please? :hihi:

Finally a big thanks to Russ fo tirelessly filming the whole day and getting that tuff lump of SRT8 onto the rollers.. I just love that car.. so butch. Oh and Russ.. your idea of a "toy" we discussed.. you have to do it.. what a beast it would be _2:

Sorry I missed a few of the AU's.. I see most of them ran good numbers although a tad down on other days. What was up with yours? It is way off?? I had gone by then but I had heard it when it arrived and it sounded stong and beefy.. nothing serious I hope?

ouch.. not good. Bad fuel?
Still, better off not running again on the day and not risking a major bang.
