I dont think he realises what perspective is.
There is nothing wrong with the bonnet gap, it just looks that way due to the camera angle and also how the bonnet and bumper curves together. But dont let truth get in the way of a good story ![]()

It's been dealt with on the Mustang forums and can be rectified with adjustment of the bonnet latch mechanism. Some owners choose to do it themselves, others take it back to the dealer, and some aren't bothered by it. Check out post 33 in the attached link. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/show...t=40731&page=2 I'll definitely be checking it as I am fussy with panel alignment - my R-Spec is spot-on in this regards.

My guess is ford are hoping the dealers will be doing a lot more pre delivery checks to compensate.

It's a volume thing
The RSpec for eg above was very low volume and hand built Mustang comes out of a sausage factory, and outside of Aus. is a very cheap car, hence the quality of fit |

I'm currently in Hawaii and Mustangs are everywhere. Convertibles look a little off compared to the coupe. Most of them here have the standard rims which look like 17 or 18's and wouldn't be my first pick (we get larger sports pack rims only right?). I saw 6 Mustangs driving within the space of 80 meters. Convertible colour choice for me would be the smoke/dark grey colour with black rims, they set it off nicely.

Had my first chance to get up close to the new model today. Absolutely stunning. I've NEVER been so keen to get a new ford in the driveway.

Is this just a guess, or do you have evidence of it happening at factory level? I only ask because poor QC has been the death of several otherwise excellent vehicles in the past, the P76 being an obvious contender. I just can't see Ford US sending vehicles o/s that weren't fully up to scratch, particularly for a new model.
