Gaz and Zil are often mixed up and they look very similar and I supect share a few parts.

That one was easy for a oldtimer like me who was around when the while P76 fiasco was in the news every other month. Well designed cars poorly assembled with poor quality control and polarising styling.

Had 2 P76 Executives, 1 very nice frog green one which had a few mods and went extremely well, another grape coloured one that wasnt quite so good, OK though.
My brother had a super 6 auto, my dad had a deluxe 6 4 speed that was very nice and then got an executive - so 5 in the family.
In many was ahead of their time, but as you say, build quality was wanting, you'd think it was built in England...
