G'day...Slightly off topic but on the news this morning Re Holden factory..They want to grow 800 million dollars worth of legal pot on the site for medicinal purposes..
Why didn't anyone think of that earlier.. Sales might of gone through the roof.. LET'S GO THERE , get our pot and get a free car with it.. It might go from being a car plant to a 'pot plant '. and it wouldn't be the first time someone has said "You'd have to be on drugs to buy a Holden" Go figure... Cheers Rod.. |

G'day.... I suppose this is it.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXpk9XueYso, different trims levels tweaks most likely ..It's okay but it isn't a commodore the same a a Mondeo isn't a Falcon.. At least Ford acknowledge that and sell the Mondeo as exactly that..Cheers Rod.

Too many strange design styles going on.
It looks like the car has bad proportional size. Long front, short back, wacky roof line. Still don't get the rear door to wheel arch. Looks like three car cut and shut into one. Have to see one in the flesh.

I'll reserve my judgement until I see one in real life, does not look much like a commodore without interceptors and a unit sticker on the window

No offence Nikkid .... your Photoshop skills are excellent and have always loved your work.
But even with your skill .... it's still nothing to get excited about. Definitely can't polish a **** with this one.

The odd window line looks strange against the line in the body. Maybe if it becomes a mainstream staple I will think otherwise, but at the moment it just looks awkward to me

Yuk, from the door handle the rear looks terrible and out of balance.
Mother may have trouble with space in the boot for groceries . Going to be interesting to see where a Supercar spoiler will have to be positioned to be of any use. |

Beauty is in eye of the beholder i guess, the original images in this thread look real nice but imo the Mondeo still looks better

The range of Teslas out there are better looking than this ... and most of them are not pretty at all.

Puke worthy. If that's what they serve up here it truly spits on the commodore name.

Looks like a spiritual successor to the mid 90s Holden Vectra, those wheels would look right at home in 1995. Funny how two decades later, Holden would try to pass off a Vectra as the new commodore, and Ford would put the dowdy Mondeo which has been around since that period as the only horse in the stable.

Saw some pics of an apparent ute version, looked like a Proton Jumbuck.
Probably just some photoshopped image, making a ute from that will probably never be economically viable.

Got to give it to Holden, They already have everyone talking about the next commodore which is still at least a year away.
Ford on the other hand have no one talking about the models they are trying to sell now. Surely the Mondeo is not the replacement for the Falcon but whats in the pipeline.....Nothing!!

Replacement for the falcon? Take your pick from the above, that's why we don't have a Falcon anymore, people have been choosing other cars.
