It was a tough one - style said early 1980's ESV or similar and there it was in my copy of World Cars 1982 Published by the Automobile Club of Italy.

Some clues:

Italian.

I have had another car from this company is this thread before.

It was seen as a breakthrough futuristic design in the early 60s.

It was intended to go into limited production.

Various toy and plastic glue together scale models of this car from various companies were also sold in the 60's. Indeed the variety of toy and scale models of this car exceeded the number of real life size versions of this car made.
