Default how stupid can you be??

:jab: :jab: 2 nights ago on the night of the 13th, two f-wits ripped my outdoor surveillance camera out of the brick wall. now the stupid part is coming up, i went back to the recording to watch what happened and these two goofballs stared right into the camera before taking it. camera was fitted nice and tight straight onto the shopfront. they bashed and yanked and swung off it. didnt budge then they returned a few minutes later with what looked like a cold chisel and that did the trick for them.
any ideas why someone would stare into a sureveillance camera before they steal it???? also they would have seen their faces being recorded inside the store. i cant believe some people are so game!!

Send the shot to the local constabulary. At least the camera half done their job for them. In all likelihood, they have nicked other stuff in the area :

what are they going to do?
go to the cops and admit that they have their picture on the net, only because they stole the camera that took it.
doubt it.

thats right, its ok to show thier faces until names can be put to them.. news crews do it all the time, they only pixelate once they've been caught.

cops were happy with video footage. they said good pics will be pulled from it, then will be circulated by their intelligence people. also 2 usable prints were lifted. hopefully these crooks are on file somewhere on police database.
