Default Anyone In tecoma or upwey or belgrave? fire alert

Hi guys.


I live in tecoma near the shops near the station. Anyone know whats going on with the fire thats going on right now? cant find any info on the net.

The grass and scrub fire, burning near Terry's Ave and Sandells Road, Tecoma, near Belgrave (Melway Map reference 75 E6) is not currently posing a threat. The communities of Ferny Creek, Sherbrooke, Kallista, Tecoma & Belgrave are no longer under direct threat from this fire, but still need to remain alert due to the continued fire activity still in the area." ......

Dam it got windy around here, it must of been windy up there.
I used to muck around there in the 80's, dam suprised that it didn't take off with all the trees. But it looks like the got it down to a controllable status *phew*
