Default FPV Gt's 300 on hold and not moving anywhere!

Speaking to a friend today who is involved with the automotive industry (and that's all I'm saying regarding him)

Explained today that the New FPV GT will be going no where while FPV decide what to do about certain quality control issues.

There are certain aspects of the car that have failed durability tests which the car would have passed, however at the 11th hour FPV cut funding for certain components. (which I cannot say as it will give away my source)

Were talking key drive line components and safety features you really shouldn't skimp on.

Makes me think that maybe the GT isn't what its cracked up to be.

The 300 GT's that have been built are holding until FPV can decide weather or not to rip them apart and start again.

.
The S/C V8 has a new strengthened tail and drive-shafts, there were some issues some time back I thought they had been addressed.
If these 2 drive line components have been beefed up not sure what other drive-line parts could have an issue, lets hope its not the dreaded diff bush

There is issues, with drive line, safety features and other key components. Due to FPV's funding

Well it happened like that with the original BOSS and auto and the first FPVs and the first F6s.

These are very complex machines and the engineering is vast.

They are getting it right....which is a good thing really.

Great things come to those who wait......

The main reason for FPV not letting cars go was the fact that they wanted all dealers to have stock at the same time.. Northern QLD and WA cars should start shipping this week with QLD / NSW / SA then finally VIC cars out by the end of next week. The 18th was the original ship date but I believe they have brought this forward.

The cars have been signed off.

There on hold and wont ship on the 18th, that im nearly 99% sure on.

the main reason is because there not ready and there ripping parts off.

And if they do ship they wont be ready and given what ive heard i certainly wouldn't buy GT 001 to GT 300

Seeing they've been in the hands of the media for ?? weeks then I think they've pretty much signed them off. Or maybe the media can drive them harder than FPV's test engineers.
