@FMC, Ppeople are just expressing their opinions as to whether it was a smart move or dumb move. Sounds like these opinions are breaking your heart? He broke a contract and was willing to sink the show for his personal gain. He is a greedy twit. He won't succeed because of it, he will be like Crispin Glover thinking he is too worthy of an actor to do the sequels of Back To The Future. Just because I have an opinion about it, doesn't mean I really care all that much either. The show will go on.

But thats just it, the accusations re: motivations are telling. He had had enough of the lies to family and friends, cant say I blame him.
Doesnt mean he doesnt need to earn a crust, and you use what youve got. Just like all of them. |

The thing about Ben Collins (according to the media reports) is he acts as though he was doing Top Gear a favour by keeping it a secret. It would have been in his contract and he would have agreed to that. Then he comes out and says that he doesn't have any freedom of speech. I'm sure he wasn't complaining when the pay checks were coming in.

I think it's Funny that people say "I'm going to Boycott Ben Collins New Show" Do you really think Jeremy, James and weasel boy Richard are going to Care if you are Loyal to them.
Top gear sacked one of it's original presenters before this current line up and I thought he was alright so should I boycott top gear as they terminated some one else's contract and could have potentially spoilt the show. Hell no I really don't care it's a t.v show and the car reviews are getting less frequent with the stupid (Let's Race a Russian Nuclear Submarine in a morris Marina Whilst wearing 6 week old unwashed G' strings Back to front and trying to drive with our hands tied behind our back to the middle of Saudi Arabia What a Sub can't get there ? Who cares it's ratings right) maybe getting good ratings now but as the Romans used to do to keep the masses entertained Bread and Circuses. This format will tire eventually or one of the trio will Quit and then it will be like INXS still a great band but it's just not right. So watch his show (Ben Collins) as Jeremy, James and peanut boy Richard will be I'd be willing to bet my left Nut on it.
