Default mods for the AU i6

hey guys,
im looking at buying my dads au falcon classic.
its a 6 and its auto so it hasnt exactly got a lot of punch.
so what mods could i do to it for around 3-4 grand?
ive looked at jim mock and for 3 grand i can get around 140rwkw but they dont change the cam.
obviously exhaust and extractors is a must but i dont know to much about the AU i6 so any help would be apreciated.

exhaust, headers and diff ratio change, with the change look at a cam and vernier gear.

JMM Dev3-HL kit and the 3000rpm stall.. you'll be blowing away cars left, right and centre with that setup!

Nice one Casper! I am really eager to see the difference it makes to your 1/4 mile times. Does it negatively affect anything in particular? ie. fuel consumption

Oh, and bodykits can be found from AWC - their link is at the top of the page.

Body kit will slow it down, not make it faster.

you would be very suprised. When you add up the weight and drag factors of a large bodykit the difference can be quite noticable.
As a test, simply throw 2 bags of cement into your boot (40kgs) and drive it. I bet you can tell that the extra weight is in the car.

i looked at the AWC site and they have some good kits, most of them around 1500 to 1700 bucks, which isnt bad. how much would i expect to pay someone to fit it and paint it?
