The only answer is to fix the car properly , the fans are on for a reason
The car is in limp mode and affecting other things . Take it to a professional and have it looked at .

My fans have been on non stop for 6 months, it's a trans temp sender faulty, the wiring for it is $260 alone then labour to fit.

What happens (or doesn't) when an AU is in 'limp mode'? I have no idea.

You'd surely know if you were in LHM. The car takes off in third. I've had it happen a few times, in the early days of trying to put a Tickford dash into the wagon. The temp gauge wasn't working and the ecu put the auto into LHM to protect it.

Once JC fixed (he's particularly good at doing that) the pod in the dash (replaced it with one from another high series dash), it was all good, and has been ever since.

Update..
Got the car to a sparkie today. Turns out one of the two fans had 'jamed tight'. So the second fan was spinning twice as fast to make up for it. Will have a closer look today to see what caused the drivers side fan to jam in the first place.

Hi Bluestripes,
I went to pic and pay less, got one out of 'good' wreak, checked I could test it on the spot, took it outside and powered it up straight away to check they worked. All good.
didn't cost to much. Did the same when my son in law smashed my old AUII and wreaked the fans.
