Default Coolant temp - AUIII VCT

What temp should an AUIII run at, I had the dash in diag mode recently and it didn't go above 92deg. It didn't move at all - not even waiting at traffic lights - which is a bit of a worry.

Should I go and buy a new coolant temp sensor, and where is it located

Thanks
Paul

AARRRRHHHH

Thanks for that, I went a bought a new temp sensor at lunch time, but looking at where it goes I won't be changing it for a while.

As for aftermarket temp senders, where and how do people normally mount them? I couldn't see any blank bolt holes on the thermostat housing.

Thanks
Paul
