Default LW Focus dashmats

Hi guys,

Was wondering whether anyone else has experienced excessive heat eminating from their Focus dashboard? I decided to purchase a dashmat for my LW Ambiente in the hope this will help as i am finding it quite hot even with the A/C working. Would appreciate your thoughts.

The best idea is to use a sunshade when you park up.

I find that it cuts the heat right down in mine.

I got a dashmat in mine, can't really tell if it makes any difference in heat reflecting off it, but it does make the dash look more comfortable makes you want to put your feet up on the dash.
One problem is the material has this shiny/gloss threads in it and you will see this reflected on the windscreen when you drive.

Have used a new black Shevron branded dash mate, they call the mate
instead of mat, and looks great, reduces dash reflections to almost nil.
Heat can only be reduced by sun screen as suggested. No other idea
as what would help this.
