Default How much have you spent on your AU? "WARNING MAY CAUSE BOUTS OF DEPRESSION"

I saw a thread like this in the E-series section and decided to make an AU one as i saw myself adding up the cost of my car.

Pretty much just vote for how much you have spent then list the mods that got you to tha price.

Cheers, Matt.

Currently i have spent around $7500

$4000 on sound system
$2000 on Sound system install and sound deadening
~ $1500 on bits and pieces

I am now buying bits a pieces for the turbo conversion, list is up to $10,000.. So yeah things will definatly get worse :

This is bringing tears to my eyes already.

If I hadn't bought the car and made it what it is I'd own a near-new M3 now........

For those interested I would conservatively say $100,000, most likely more

EDIT: Sorry, probably $30,000 on the car PLUS the car I bought new for about $69,000 on road

I really should say a lot of my mods were done prior to me actually buying it from my request. Turned out cheaper and saved a lot of heartache if i did it myself living where i do (such as getting parts here, fitting, etc).

I am jelouse of whoosha's results for the amount spent.. if only..

Bought more car for a bargain a few years ago. $7000 under what it was worth. But i made up for that now as ive spent $5480.00 to date.

I was going to spend another $1000 tomorrow as a birthday gift on a flash tuner. : What am i thinking :

Amazingly not that much! Mainly cos it was all done before I bought the ute.

In the coming year though, I reckon somewhere around $10-15,000 or so.

I went with 2500 to 5000, but I have 2, so it's really double that.

XR8 - exhaust, rims, rockers, rims, rocker covers, DVD system, rims, suspension, rims, CAI, rims, plus LPG, plus other bits and pieces.

Wagon - exhaust, rims, CAI, rims, DVD system, rims, XR front, suspension, rims, body kit, rims....
