I dont think a 7 litre 380kw car will have much trouble taking the glory from another stripe's package. |

will this be another marketing stunt like the 427 monaro or will they actually offer this one to market??
Watch the media rain praise all over it and then in the same article call FPV irresponsible for releasing a car with 302kw's!

The boys on the LS1 forums are talking about a 20th Anniversary Clubsport.
From what the car features looks like HSV is taking FPV's path in putting together a underwhelming package. http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=83025

I dont think a ve maloo ute is going to be the biggest thing for 20 years. I am tipping the new ute & wagon plus a gtsr of sorts. One reply on the holden forum suggested 6.3L for maloo & clubby & 7.0L for gts & senator. Should be interesting : I think the clubby mentioned above is a special sticker version like the cobra that ford is doing. Its just a teaser for the ford boys.

So long as they don't bring the Walkinshaw E-Series into HSV, I don't care what they do.

Its not gunna be the 7.0 - that would mean they would releasing the maloo, 20th aniversery clubsport and gts-r all at they same time. HSV may be richer than fpv, but they can't be that rich (can they?).

Well I wouldn't call the Maloo the biggest thing in HSV's 20 year history. Thats my reasoning behind expecting the widely speculated 7L and not the lame specd-up Clubsport with leather and shadow wheels the guys LS1 are suggesting. I hope I'm wrong, but HSV have a history of pulling things out of the blue in regards to show-stoppers.
I hope it is a lame 20th Anniversary Clubby, but a 7L GTS-R would not surprize me. |

I'm pretty sure it's the LS3-powered HSV GTS.

I'm leaning towards the 7L. Wouldn't be suprised if they announce an export deal as well.
