Default ACCIDENT FPV Air bags

My FPV was in an accident in which my car is totalled written off severe damage to all panels but most in to the front (22 inches shorter) AIR BAG did not deploy contacted ford motor company.A relation officer spoke to me and was not concerned about it so be very aware that air bags don't always work

Depending on the severity of the crash, the airbags will only deploy if absolutely necessary. They are not what they used to be, in that they just go off in a bingle, many many hours of testing are put into the deployment of airbags so that drivers/passengers are not subjected to a airbag being fired in the face if not needed.

What injuries did you sustain in the accident?
That will tell you if they were needed.

But I do agree with DFB, they only deploy if needed. Have a look on YouTube for how violent they are

No - airbags don't always deploy because they aren't always needed. And by the way - FPV's aren't AU's.

If you did not need it in the crash , i would be very happy the air bag didn't go off, they can really give you a wack,
how did the car crash, was it a direct head on , where you sliding/spinning ?
