I'm having issues with my 93 kh laser where the engine overheats, and i think it's because the fan is not kicking in. any suggestions on what to do?

Easiest way to check the fan is to unplug the thermo switch near the distributor. It will have a single wire going to it. The fan should run with the wire disconnected and the ignition on.
If it doesnt, you will have to look further for a wiring or fan motor fault. If it does, the wiring is fine and the thermo switch is stuffed. |
