Default Escort brake upgrade?

I've heard that using volvo 4 pot calipers is a common upgrade. Has anyone here done this?

What model volvo should the calipers be taken from and how much modification is required?

They sell complete volvo brake conversion for escorts. I just found out about this in the morning, I'm getting them.

Hope this helps you.

the eurospeed kit seems ideal, if the price they give me is reasonable

vctxr6ute,

the tx3 rotors you're using...can you give us some specs? diameter, cross drilled, ventilated etc.

did you use the eurospeed kit in conjuction with these rotors, because apparently the rotors they supply don't clear the standard 13" steel rims.

hoping you use the standard 13" rims..means tx3 turbo rotors will be ideal.

Hoppers Stoppers do a kit for around $1450 for 290mm rotors and 2 piston Callipers, they also require a 15 inch rim.

Eurospeed offer a quality product though thats cheaper, it just depends on what your after, im unsure if either meet ADR requirements.
