I haven't been keeping an eye on this thread like I should. just had to read through it.

I was gonna mention I could bring a pressure washer and rotaing brush, but 'cause I don't know the issues with Water Resrictions, and seeing there is a carwash around the corner, I don't think we'll need it.

Could we get some kinda back pass tour to FPV or something like they do McDonalds birthday parties?

I just use a bucket and sponge. The rotating brush sounds too scary on my paint :

At FPV weekend, they do tours through the workshop at FPV. We could always ask them while we are there.

Your just scared that your paint will end up like a bumpkin's teeth after using a wire brush for a toothbrush! lol

Funnily enough I use a bucket and sponge at home too!

Believe it or not, i use to go to car lovers. Till i saw the evils and hell of a lot of scratches and now I just use the highpressure hose to get rid of the dirt. So the highpressure washer sounds like a great idea.

At some point you guys will need to cruise past Broady, because it's no longer an arrival ritual into Melbourne via the freeway anymore.

It might be wild and far fetched but possibly a photo shoot in front of Ford HQ if you can organise it.

Maybe if the guys are up for it, we could always do it on Sunday morning on our way to Macca's. Its outta the way, but if we are all ready to go by 9.30, then I don't see why we don't try to do that.

My cousin has a pic of his red EF XR6 right on the grass in front of the Ford sign! Illegal of course, but great pic.

I'm not suggesting you do the same! _2:

Thanks for the heads up GK. I thought it was ok to do. Usually for car shows it seems to be the thing most people try to get.

I'm definatley keen on FPV and maybe we can go to Herrods on our way to FPV. I'm sure a few of the other guys would be interested as well. I'll see what time Herrods open and maybe ask Rob if it would be ok for a group of us to drop in and have a look around the workshop and see whats on the Herrod menu

It would really top off the whole trip. Makes it a bit more then a cruise and BBQ day.

Plus, they might have that 380Kw Typhoon there...

Thats in Geelong. Depending on the traffic Your looking at about a 2 hour round trip, plus an hour to go through the discovery centre. Not sure what time they open. You would need to leave early from the hotel early.

Ok everyone. 10 Days till the day....

Does everyone have all the correct information such as the hotel, where it is, times, routes, and meet & travel info. If not, I suggest you get it....!

Can't wait... Finally a day away from the Mrs... (thank god she doesn't read these forums)

Not trying to upset anyone, but the reality is a trip to FDC takes a good half a day in itself to take everything in and enjoy it.

Thanks mate. Pity you won't be there. Maybe we can organise an AU event in Sydney.

Cheers

Its a worthwhile trip. But your right, its a half day trip. I think if we were going earlier and had a day to spare, would definatley be on the books.

Remember FPV weekend next year guys.

Ok folks. Have you guys worked out what time your meeting at Uncle leo's? I believe Uncle leo's is about 2.5 hours to Yass. So if we are meeting around 9.20 at Yass, you guys would need to set off around 6.50. Maybe a little earlier.

Can someone post the details for that, or PM them to me.

Thanks

yeah mate i suggest a meet time of 6:15 for a 6:30 departure

if it means we get to Yass a little early id rather hang around there than try and make up time on the way there

well thats what im doing anyway, if others are with me then all good

Good idea. You've been to the hotel and the other places like FPV & Herrods, so it will be good to have 2 points of contact. I'm only going to email out the run sheet. Won't be available for download.

Thanks Adam
