Maybe to you and I because we don't have that sort of cash to splash around (sorry being a bit presumptuous on your cash flow there), but there are plenty out there that have more money than they what to do with.
Some rich dude will buy it for his collection or man cave.
But yes, I do think it's a bit much, thats AMC for you.
Aim high, you might get lucky, if it doesn't sell then you can always lower the price.

It's one of the good one's. I sold mine for 9 or 10k years ago. I reckon he'll get at least 500k for it at the moment.........

I'd be worried about the state of the body. Outside skin looks good, obvious respray. Under the front, a few bits of bent framework. I wonder about the frame alignment (notice the difference in camber bolt settings. Under the rear, looks like a cover up of rust repair or other damage, with all of that black sprayed around. Perhaps a replacement rear end tacked on? Still, if you want, what appears to be, mostly, a Cobra, go for it.

Could someone educate me on the Bathurst Cobras please. If there are 30 Bathurst Cobras with build #2 to #31 what is #1.
Also I thought the shells were painted blue then masked up and the white painted. If that is the case why is the underbody predominantly white, wouldn’t it be blue??

No 1 was sold to a chick that worked at ford. I have been told that 2 people are prepared to go to $650,000 for no 31

That's what i thought, it is pretty rough in a lot of area's. i understand and appreciate what the car is, but the Cobra wasn't anything special in the drive train like H.O or RPO83.

One of the main reasons they were built was to get rid of the coupe shells as the XD was about to come on the market......

Im not even a fan of tha XA/B/C shape but the cobras are something special. It it worth over 600K, i think more than likely yes given the condition it appears to be in with documentation etc.
