Default help

hey,

i have a 1989 Xf Falcon ute. 4 speed manual 4.1L inline.

i was wondering how much power it would have. because with the new laws in qld on licenses you arent allowed a car that puts out over 200kw. i know it doesnt do that much but i was wondering what it would be putting out approx.

as said earlier its a carby fed 4.1 250 crossflow inline. It does however have pacemaker extractors and a dual reverberator exhaust system. that came with the car when we bought it.

as it is i believe i will have to get an exception for the extractors cause with the new laws you arent allowed any performance mods and extractors are counted as them. even though i dont think that with my car it would change that much.

Thanks

mcfear

It would be certainly less than 90kw at the wheels.
One of our members had a XD that only produced 6o odd kw at the wheels.
and the xd and xf have the same motor.

So that is a pretty goo guideline.
