It is not the std round coil, it is module type coil, I cleaned body where coil mounts and I have replaced engine control module on fire wall, still no spark, dist came off a running vehicle.

From memory, there is a black module inside the distributor called an ignitor....about the size of a matchbox, that can pack up. Easy to replace, needs to have thermal paste under it though. If this packs up, no spark.
Something like this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/IGNITION-...-/121066909830

I have tried all the swap with old & new, I have put both units on a friends laser & they work ok.

Geez that's weird. Might be time to get a auto elec to look at it ???
Maybe also check all your fuses & relays - to make sure one hasn't blown. Engine is cranking over - just no spark ???? |
