Anyone watching the 2nd season?

This time they are in northern Canada ie the Artic driving on a frozen river and the ocean.

Those guys are nuts..

Our bus driver shows it to us sometime on our way out to the proving grounds. It's some scary looking stuff. A lot of action too.

It's a show about trucks hauling heavy items to remote Canadian mines over ice roads on frozen lakes (well the first season was on lakes, I haven't seen any of the second). They follow a few drivers and show what they get up to. The roads only last a couple of months in the winter before they thaw too much to drive on.

Thumbs down Ice truckers

Hi all I drive a 45 ton rig all day every day and have been doing it since 1969 so I do know a bit about trucks even if I havent been to Canada the one show I watched was utter crap with a capitol c talk about bull s.it they waited 12 hours to head off on the trip to BHP then half way along one stops to tie his load down he forgot to put the chains/ropes/tiedowns on what a load of dog doo and as for it being so dangerous why in the world would you let an inexperienced 20 year old do that job once was enough for me entertainment maybe truth no way

I have watched a few episodes of this. Surely they must get paid a bit for it though?

They generally show at the end of the show the tally for the season of how much who has made and tonight’s show I think the leading person was up to 30K and the lowest person was 20K. Not bad for a couple of weeks work. Good show though.
