Well calling it a gas-guzzler generally isn't considered a compliment.

But it certainly wasn't a swipe at Ford...just the car itself...

Heres hoping Rusty traded it in on a new G6E Turbo as a runaround for his Coffs property.

Old Banger is a bit harsh on the FBT.

Fairlane by Tickford. Precursor to TL50 with GT running gear and features the adaptive shift auto - remember driving these things new and believe me they go like stink; sticker price was 76k + on roads from memory.

Seriously underated motorcar both now and back in its time.

HArsh with the "Old banger" title.. The editors in that section of the paper would not have a clue how good that car is.. GT in disguise..

Hmmmm that's interesting.

I recognize the cars background & the dealer location. This car has been on carsales since early December, up until a few days ago. There was this one, & three red ones. Before that, two blues, including this one, & two reds.

It was 16k or just over if I remember correctly. But its not on carsales anyore, it's not for sale, sold, or pulled from carsales thanks to that article.

FBT, the GT rockstar performance, without the rockstar attention!

It's a thing of beauty, & I want one BAD.

It's OK mate, just think of how Robert Downey Jr ripped him in Tropic Thunder; "Whether you're a movie star or a rugby player"
