No Pressure Racing....all cars and bikes welcome
We are organising a private day at the drags for the weekend of the 7th September 08. Any car or bike can race any bracket. Racing will be from 10AM-4PM with a break for lunch. We are not sure of the format yet, but you will get heaps of runs. Schedule will be something like this. 10-1230 Practice 1230-1PM Lunch 1PM-4PM Competition cost per vehicle $50. Further details in the near future. Please deposit $50 into the following account Account Name: Robert Boyle BSB: 012-787 Account: 586782897 If you wanna race on the 7th September the cost is $50 per car and you can email Rob for details boyley09@bigpond.com if you want to pay on the day it will be $65 this is what u need to race GENERAL: • An approved helmet in good condition should have compliance stickers! • Steel valve caps. • All street tyres must be of a roadworthy condition, no tread no race. • All vehicles must self or remote start. Push starts are not permitted anywhere in the facility! Bikes: • Bikes must have a chain guard, leather jacket or equivalent, long trousers, gloves and boots. • Eye protection is strongly recommended when wearing open face helmets. • The wearing of club colours is forbidden at all ANDRA sanctioned events. • Bikes quicker than 10.50 must have helmet with visor or goggles, gloves, full leathers or material of similar or better durability and boots that extend 275mm up the leg from the heel. Bikes quicker than 10.0 seconds or having a modified frame or swing arm must be tech inspected and have an ANDRA U.D.L licence. Cars: • Long sleeves for street and super streetcar classes or vehicles slower than 10.99. • Convertibles, soft tops and open hot rods and vehicles must have a roll bar. • All vehicles must have a tail shaft loop under front uni joint. • All Vehicles must have bonnets • Vehicle must be of a roadworthy condition, tyres, seatbelts, and all glass etc; it helps if your vehicle is oil tight too. • ALL vehicles must have a catch can for radiator overflow.
