Default Your favourite "Toys"

Bought a 2000 Yamaha R1 last week.

Wanted one for years, it's tweaked with Akropovic exhaust, Brembo's etc. Was an amazing price so couldn't resist, my daughter also loves it....ha

Some cracks in fairings to fix and genuine stickers on the way to replace the white 26's, I've already given it a full detail and will look/perform A1 when finished!!....

Made me think what are our interests outside Fords? (I own a BA 300kw Xr Turbo, in the pic)

Whether bikes/boats/jetskis etc etc, so thought could share some pics/words on your favourite "toys"!?

How to burn 400 litres of avgas in 40 minutes.

Engines are 2x 2.5 litre Mercury Racing V6 Bridgeport 2 strokes each outputting ~425hp at the props. ~9000rpm flat out.

Built by two little old ladies in a shed in Oshkosh USA.

Rebuild this a few years go KTM 620 LC4 Super Comp, picked it up cheap in Sydney and ordered a heap of parts from UK bike wreckers to get it completed, had it registered for 12 moths and then put it in the shed, still ride it occasionally on private land.

Not worth a million, but these things do have a following, and I might register it again one of these days and use it to ride to work in summer.

It's a big heavy bike with heaps of grunt and not designed for smaller guys or the faint hearted.

only have a few right now. Polaris Sportsman Touring 850 l, mountain bikes, and a D610 DSLR camera kit. But I also enjoy boating, jet skiing, flying, powered parachuting, RVing/camping, road bikes, dirt bikes, down hill skiing, and snowmobiling. Basically anything with an engine that's fun and fast.

That run was actually 92, someone somehow has got hold of my video, only recently I found it on youtube.
I lost the original as well as all my photos in a shed fire.

Mate, I've always had Naked Sports ( Speedtriples and Tuono's ) I wanted more of a Cruiser style bike and Harley's pushrod engine never appealed to me so I decided to take the American underdog ( Victory ) out for a test ride. Tried a couple, the Gunner, and the Judge, then I jumped on the Highball and was smitten! The ape's and seat are sooo comfortable it's like riding a couch compared to what I was use too ( I'm 6.1 ) seat height is low, feels like you have your knees round your ears nice feeling being so close to the ground. Engine is a peach and no slug either, I was actually quite impressed with the torque of the thing it certainly aint no slug. the only gripe I have with the bike is the clunky gearbox, but you get use to that. Handling wise they are surprisingly well balanced for a big heavy (310 odd Kg's ) and go round corners very well, abs is nice too. I did a lot of research on the freedom 106 engine before I bought it, basically they are well made and if looked after should give years of reliable biking. Mine has the stage 1 kit, which is pipes, air filter and download, this is a must do as with any new bikes the stock exhaust is rubbish! Oh they sound awesome opened up! Hope this helps your decision! really happy with mine.

And for those poor deprived souls who have never had the supreme aural experience of a 750 two stroke triple...turn up the volume...

And yes, it's supposed to sound like that...if it stops smoking and rattling, there's something wrong with it...
