OK guys, i tried reading back through the pages of the blah blah blah blah blah to find out what i am required to bring, i couldnt get past something about a bucknaked one, and polished bling bling bits or something..

SO, if someone could please help me & fill me in one what exactly it is that we need to bring it would be lovely!

are we allowed to bring beers, or is this a no no?

one more sleep...

softdrinks, meat, bread, ... pretty much all BBQ food, plates, etc all supplied.

Bring chairs if you have some and if you want to bring a few light beers thats fine however remember it is a flamily day and kids will be present. There will also bee the general public there so I'd rather we dont all look like beer swilling drivers from a hoon club, the media would love that.

Anyhow, beers are welcome but discresion is advised

oh, if you want salads with your BBQ bring them too as they are not supplied... but real men eat meat and there is going to be swags of it there!

Unsure as yet. Personally I'm fine if there is none to be honest. In the end its an event for ourselves and the families.
The media may only be interested if it looks like a good "hoon" story... in that case I'd rather not have them attend at all.

Good luck with the day guys and hope there are plenty of shiny AU's in the lineup. The weather looks good here in SA and has been good for the last few days and usually preceeds Vic so looks like the AU weather gods are on your side.
Enjoy :
Pete

I don't want to put a spanner in anyones idea of bring some beer. I'm not sure what the laws are at Albert Park but there might be an issue with drinking beer in a public park.

Its actually Orthodox Easter, not Greek Easter or Greek Orthodox Easter like many people call it. Russians are also Orthodox and celebrate easter now aswell as other nationalities that are also Orthodox.

Just a quick note. I checked out the site late last night (after dinner wife and I went cruising and just enjoying melb by night). ALL reserves are now on the list. If you are a reserve, please come along!

Ditto.... Absolutely fantastic day. Well organised. Rain stop just before we got there and held off for most of the time while we were there. :

I had a great afternoon also, many thanks to all who made it possible.

I had to leave unfortunately as the judging began, oh well what can I say, hours of polishing and cleaning out the window. LOL! I would have waited if I could, but my car was up the opposite end from where they started! Aaaahhhh nuts!

At least next time I go to wash the wagon, it'll be a much easier job!

In spite of this, I met many fellow AU enthusiasts, saw some awesome examples of stock and modded cars and was able to stack my mind with dreams for the future.

Thanks again for a great day.
