Agree.

Only forum that I am on that is the "old" way. Once people start using the "view new posts" button and "mark all as read" when they have finished browsing and dependant on how regular they are on here, the number of posts/pages that will come up should be minimal if you use the function each time you log on.

Bit of a PITA for those that only get on and usually only visit the same sections though.

The way I browse through the areas of intersest, I find the old way a little easier. However its not so different and even an old technophobe like me can adapt.

The old way was okay but lets give the new way a couple of months or so then see how we all feel about it.
Change most times takes awhile to get used to.
