Welcome Woofy.
Although you can find heaps of info on AFF I would recommend investing in a Gregory's manual as they are really helpful in describing how to remove/replace just about every part on the car.

With very little knowledge and a gregory's manual I replaced heaps of stuff from my old XE Falcon. From most of the interior cosmetics to things like the brake discs, diff, engine and gearbox

Have fun!
