Good effort. I wonder if they come with premium sound or just the display, like the XR50s. You can see a tweeter in the rear shot of the ute.

Dash-GT is right...That's the "standard" screen but with some colour added. Thought for a moment when they said "colour screen" it was the premium one, but it isn't...shame. If you're going to make something really exclusive and "special" don't scrimp on the little details...add the good stuff and make it worth the money. Any idiot can throw on a few badges and a couple of "colour accents"...

Also the first four door Falcon ute if the interior shot is anything to go by...

Looks a good package to bring back interest in the XR6 ute, which is probably getting a bit stale these days.

Would appeal to those that missed out on the XR50 (which was a better package), they went like hotcakes, especially the turbo version which was sold out in less than a couple of months.

Control Blade IRS on the ute??? Needspeed noticed it too.

It was at the motor show, like the sedan version. Didn't think it was on sale yet as I haven't seen any at dealers.

Those wheels have been around since 2004 when the first Typhoon appeared.

Pretty poor package though and the person who put that ad on the site should be fired!

Agreed. I do like them being different to the norm though because you can pick unmarked HWP cars in NSW easy - just look at the wheels.

Can you get different offset for the rears of those wheels from BAII days? They would finish the ute off nicely.

I agree with you there. This is a great price for what you get.

I'm bloody tempted in getting one.

jees those wheels really date the FG..looks like its 8 years old! At 33k drive away man that is tempting..couldn't pick up a used FG XR6 ute with luxury pack for much less than that.

The ute price is for a manual. The 6 speed auto is optional but it doesn't say how much (if any) extra the option is.

Ford still don't have the sedan on their website so can't say. They're still trying to push the fleet XR6 for 35k drive away......but I would be thinking that the price of a LE XR6 would be the same.

Edit. Oh and the IRS thing has been fixed on the site now.

I have the staggered offset same Typhoon rims on mine, but the offset difference is only 9mm from memory so ideally not enough to fill those guards.
